His charming good looks compliments with his warm-hearted personality. He also has vocals that can almost stop the blood flow of a dedicated supporter. Just after a year of splitting from One Direction, he released a song called Sign Of The Times on April 7, 2017. Then just a month after that, he released his self-titled album on May 12, 2017. The album is filled with rock, soft rock, and even a touch of country. Now Styles is on a break after his first sold out solo World Tour, that raised 1.2 million for 62 different charities, including the GLSEN Pride campaign that helps the LGBTQ+ community! Harry Styles ran 89 shows during 2017-18 spreading the love and touching hearts.
2. Shawn Mendes
Shawn Mendes has grown from a You-Tube sensation, to a 20 year old icon, selling out arenas. Mendes first started out as a You-Tuber who did heart-stopping covers. He gained hundreds of subscribers in a matter of days. Then he traveled to the well-known boy group, Mag-con, and gained his fame there. Just a year after he left Mag-con he released his first single, Life Of The Party, on June 26, 2014.This song sent him skyrocketing into the land of pop stars.He released two more albums, Handwritten and Illuminate, which skyrocketed on the pop charts. Just recently, he released his self titled album on May 25, 2018. He is now traveling on his 3rd World Tour, singing in front of ecstatic fans.
3. Edward Sheeran
Edward Christopher Sheeran has been around for ages, I would be surprised if you have not heard of this flame-haired icon in the past 2 years. He first started out as a young boy in the music industry, then blossomed into this well-known, all over the world, heart stopper. Sheeran released his first single “The A Team” on June 12, 2011. This song shot him into the limelight and he soon gained millions of fans in just a few months. He later released his first album, titled “Plus” on September 9, 2011. He then released two more albums, titled “Multiply” and then “Divide”. You can see that there is a math theme here, I wonder if his favorite school subject is math. Just recently, fans learned that this ginger-headed idol will not be releasing his next album, most likely titled “Minus,” until late 2019. Keep your heads up Ed Sheeran fans, he’ll be back soon enough.
4. The 1975
The 1975 are an indie pop based group. The band consists of the lead singer, Matthew “Matty” Healy, George Daniel, Adam Hann, and Ross MacDonald. They first released a song titled “Settle Down,” on August 27, 2013. They later released their self-titled album on September 2, 2013. Their music consists of an “80’s unforgettable aesthetic.” The one hit wonder band released 3 years later, “I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful, Yet So Unaware Of It.” A gorgeous title for a gorgeous band. They are set to release their 4th album, titled “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships,” on November 30, 2018. Fans better be ready, cause this is gonna be a good one.
5. Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish dropped her first song titled “Ocean Eyes,” on November 18, 2016. She was only 15, and she had the voice of an angel. She later released a song titled “Six Feet Under.” This song sent newly-born fans wild. She is now 16, Billie has been in the music industry for just a year now. Fans say that she has a “depressed and angsty” look to her appearance. She recently released a song titled “When The Party’s Over,” fans went wild over this song. Fans can’t wait to see what she happens to release next! And quite frankly, I am too!
